The Gresham Area League for the Arts (GALA) is pleased to announce a call for artists for our upcoming winter exhibition. We are seeking original, small-scale artworks to be featured in the Gresham Council Chamber gallery and GALA online website gallery during the peak holiday season. Size: 2D works must not exceed 9" x 9" and minimum 5” x 5” (including frame). 3D works must not exceed 9" x 9" x 9".

GALA is looking for submissions across all media painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, sculpture, pottery, fiber art, and 3-D works. Let your artistry, inventiveness, and creativity flow. Submit your unique take on Petite Creations. This is your chance to captivate an audience, invite conversation, and showcase your art.

Calendar & Deadlines

Exhibit Dates: November 23, 2026 – January 8, 2027

Artist Submission Deadline: Wednesday, October 28, 2026 (by 5:00 PM)

Artist Selection Review: Monday, November 2nd, 2026

Artist Notification: Wednesday, November 4, 2026

Artwork Take In Date: November 21st, 2026

Opening Reception: Thursday, December 10th, 2026 | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Saturday Gallery viewing & Sale: December 12th, 2026 | 11:00 - 4:00 PM

Art Take-down Date: January 9th, 2027

Artist Participation

Preference will be given to Greater Gresham Area artists, however, we may include the surrounding metro area depending on the number of submissions. Artist must reside within 30 miles of Gresham, Oregon for in-person delivery of accepted works to gallery space. Artwork is to remain in the art show venue for the duration of the exhibit. Content Restrictions exist for this gallery space. Please review Understanding Your Audience in a Multi-Use Gallery Space for details prior to submission.
